Neville Jephcote

Chair of Trustees

Neville's interest in CHIPS sparked when Neville's daughter learned of CHIPS through a friend. Neville and his wife Wendy have been active supporters ever since. Together, Neville and Wendy have been lending a hand with information booths, fundraising events, and assisting at the Brixton office. In 2021, Neville became a trustee, and in autumn 2023, he was chosen as the new Chairman.

With a postgraduate Diploma in Practical Theology, Neville has developed a growing passion for peacemaking, even taking a trip to the West Bank in Israel to further explore this interest. He's had extensive experience in both the private sector and charitable organizations, serving in various management and leadership roles. He's also been involved in voluntary positions within the church leadership.

Neville's favourite verse is Micah 6v8. Although he's technically retired now, he continues to be an itinerant preacher and is actively engaged with other community-based charities. Neville and Wendy have two daughters and the delight of five wonderful grandchildren.
