CHIPs would like to give a huge thank you to Julia and Bernard Rose for the fantastic work they have done hosting a Jazz evening in Suffolk to raise funds for Christian International Peace Service.

The event involved an evening of live Jazz, refreshments and a talk from Paul (CHIPS Director) on the work that the charity does.

Julia and Bernard did a fantastic job organsing and promoting the event. There was even an interview with Olivia Castle on BBC Suffolk. Olivia was runner-up in the BBC Radio 2 Chorister of the Year final and has since become a talented UK Jazz vocalist. On the interview, Olivia spoke about her involvement with the CHIPS fundraising event and encouraged people to attend. You can hear the interview here

The event was a resounding success. Some wonderful comments about the event are...

‘It was a truly wonderful night on Saturday, well done to all involved.’

'It far exceeded all our expectations...The standard of the music was amazing and we were just in awe of the whole event.'

‘I had a wonderful evening and thoroughly enjoyed myself.’

'Again next year for CHIPS?’

They made an amazing £1738.07 profit and did a great job at spreading the story and the vision of what CHIPS do to a wide audience.

If you would like to run a fundraising event for CHIPS or have a charity representative come and speak at your church, please do get in touch. We would love to hear from you.
