Desmond has been part of the Ghana team since the very beginning in 2011 and has led the team there since Paul left Ghana in 2012. He told us: "I'm excited about being a servant of God and interacting with people from both tribes involved in the conflict. It is in the practical activities that we get the two tribes together, to gain their trust and encourage them to trust one another."
The team are exploring new ways to bring the tribes together. They are to visit new communities every week with natural medicines for sale, and to train more people in how to produce these themselves. They have also proposed to train young women from the two tribes in dress-making; as Desmond says, "This is the love of God put into action."
